Uniforms and Dress Code
1st-8th Grade School Uniforms:
St. Mary's uniforms are required for students in 1st through 8th grades. Uniforms are supplied byDennis. Whether you shop in the store or online, you may find it convenient to download and print the St. Mary's uniform list provided by Dennis. The list serves as a good general guide to required and permitted clothing. Please direct all questions concerning uniforms and dress code guidelines to the school office. We are happy to assist you.

All slacks, capris, and shorts for girls and boys in 1st-8th grade must be purchased from Dennis and must display the Dennis tag on the outside.

Physical education uniforms are required for 3rd-8th grade. Gym uniforms must include all four pieces: shorts, tee shirt, sweat pants, and sweat shirt.
1st-8th Grade Dress Code:
We at St. Mary's strive to maintain a modest and respectful atmosphere by dressing appropriately at all times. Please adhere to the following dress code guidelines:

Belts: When students wear uniform pants, shorts, or capris that have belt loops, they must wear belts.

Shoes: Shoes for 1st -8th grade students must be comfortable dress-up shoes in black, brown, or navy. No canvas or leather shoes that are actually gym shoes are permitted, except for use during Physical Education class. Girls must wear flat shoes with heels of no more than one inch.

Socks: All socks included on the Dennis list for St. Mary's school are permitted. Similar socks may be purchased elsewhere. Quarter-cut and no-show socks are never permitted. All socks must be at least ankle or crew length.
Preschool and Kindergarten Clothing:
Preschoolers and Kindergarteners should wear comfortable clothing, appropriate for the setting and the season.
Dressing for the Weather:
When the weather is cold, and snow is a possibility, please ensure that children come to school equipped with snow boots, snow pants, hats, mittens, etc. so that they can play and explore outside safely and comfortably.
