Reverend John Balluff

Father BaluffSenior Pastor Father John Balluff joined the St. Mary's family in Spring of 2009. He has served as a priest for 21 years, including 11 years  in the rural part of our diocese, and ten years as associate in Elmhurst and Naperville. He was also blessed to spend two years studying in Rome. Before the seminary, he was a student at the University of Nebraska, where he studied architecture like his father and grandfather before him.

Reverend Felipe Legaretta

Father FelipeParochial Vicar Father Felipe Legaretta joined the St. Mary's family in May of 2008.  He is currently working toward completing his doctoral degree in Sacred Scripture and the Pauline Epistles at Loyola University, where he also teaches undergraduate courses in Theology.  Before coming to St. Mary's, Father Felipe  served as Associate Pastor at St. Isidore Church and Elementary School in Bloomingdale.

General: The Unemployed and the Homeless: That those who are without work or homes or who are otherwise in serious need may find understanding and welcome, as well as concrete help in overcoming their difficulties.

Missionary: Victims of Discrimination, Hunger and Forced Emigration: That the Church may be a “home” for all people, ready to open its doors to any who are suffering from racial or religious discrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.
